Our mission is to provide support, resources, and opportunities that empower individuals and their families at every stage of life. We envision an inclusive community where people with Down syndrome are valued, respected, and given every opportunity to reach their full potential. Through advocacy, education, and connection, we work to promote awareness and foster a sense of belonging for all.

OUR MISSION

Be the first point of contact for information and support for the Down syndrome community.

To enhance knowledge and understanding of Down syndrome.

To create awareness about Down syndrome in the National Capital Region.

To create a more inclusive community for people with Down syndrome through educational and other awareness strategies.

To provide support for people with Down syndrome and their families

To form support networks with other organizations.


      The DSANCR is a Canadian Down Syndrome Society (CDSS) and Down Syndrome Association of Ontario (DSAO) affiliate.
