DRIVE-THROUGH CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION!
Since we couldn’t gather in person this year, the DSANCR Board has worked with Santa to bring you the first ever drive-through Christmas celebration!
On Saturday, December 19, from 10 am to 12 pm, we invite all members of the Association to pack the family in the car, and head over to the Richelieu Community Center in Vanier. As you drive up to the roundabout, Board members and Santa will be there to welcome you, hand out gifts (a fun treat and some crafts) to each family and take a picture with Santa from the comfort of your own car.
To participate, we invite you to register and indicate the size of your family, the age groups of the children or self-advocates, and indicate if there are any gluten allergies.
For those without a car, if you are comfortable, you can take the bus – the #20 can bring you directly to the Community Center. If this is not an appropriate option for you or your family, please send us an email at info@dsancr.com and we will make alternate arrangements with you.
PLEASE NOTE: This event will take place in strict accordance with health measures imposed due to COVID-19. All participants coming by car must remain in their vehicles. For those who choose to park to walk through the site, we must stress the importance of avoiding large gatherings, and of maintaining proper social distancing. Due to the number of volunteers on site, participants will not be permitted to approach the gift area (unless they are coming by bus or on foot).
CÉLÉBRATION DE NOËL « SERVICE AU VOLANT »
Puisque nous ne pouvons vous recevoir en personne cette année, le Conseil d’administration de l’ASDRCN a collaboré avec le Père Noël afin de vous présenter la toute première célébration de Noël de style service au volant!
Le samedi 19 décembre, de 10 h à midi, nous invitons tous les membres de l’Association de faire monter la famille dans la voiture et se rendre au Centre communautaire Richelieu à Vanier. Lorsque vous accéderez au rond-point, les membres du Conseil et le Père Noël y seront pour vous accueillir, vous remettre des cadeaux (une délicieuse surprise et du matériel d’artisanat) et prendre votre photo avec le Père Noël, le tout à partir de votre voiture.
Pour participer à cette activité, nous vous prions de vous inscrire, d’indiquer la taille de votre famille, les groupes d’âge des enfants et des auto-intervenants, ainsi que de toute allergie au gluten.
Si vous n’avez pas de voiture et que vous êtes à l’aise de prendre l’autobus, le no. 20 vous amènera directement au Centre communautaire. Si l’autobus n’est pas une option appropriée pour vous ou votre famille, veuillez nous écrire à info@dsancr.com afin que nous puissions nous organiser autrement afin de vous remettre votre cadeau.
NOTA: Cet événement sera tenu en fonction des mesures sanitaires en place en réponse à la COVID-19. Tous les participants qui se présentent en voiture doivent demeurer dans leur véhicule. Pour ceux qui choisissent de garer la voiture pour se balader sur le site, nous vous réitérons l’importance d’éviter tout grand rassemblement et de maintenir une distanciation sociale appropriée. En raison du nombre de bénévoles qui seront sur place, les participants ne pourront s’approcher de l’aire des cadeaux (à moins qu’ils n’arrivent par autobus ou à pied).
