The Down Syndrome Association of the National Capital Region (DSANCR) is pleased to invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2026
All members are invited to attend online. Registration is mandatory.
An overview of 2025-2026 activities and events will be presented as well as the financial status of the association.
Please note that in accordance with DSANCR by-laws, only members are entitled to vote at the AGM.
We have openings on the Board (Board member), so why not get involved and help the DSANCR continue to operate and provide activities, support and services to the Down syndrome community in the greater Ottawa-Gatineau region.
To sit on the DSANCR Board, you must be available to attend Board meetings, usually held monthly, and willing to help organize and participate in Association events.
If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions about becoming a Board member, please send us an email to info@dscncr.com in advance of the AGM. You are invited to check out the task descriptions here. As well, do feel free to share with anyone who might be interested in joining the Board.

L’Association du syndrome de Down de la région de la capitale nationale (ASDRCN) a le plaisir de vous inviter à participer à son assemblée générale annuelle (AGA) qui aura lieu le mercredi 23 septembre
Tous les membres sont invités à participer en linge. L’inscription est obligatoire.
Un bilan des activités pour l’année 2025-26 sera présenté aux participants.
Veuillez prendre note qu'en vertu des règlements de l'ASDRCN, seuls les membres sont habilités à voter au cours de l'AGA.
Nous avons des postes disponibles au conseil d’administration (c.a.) (Membre général du c.a.) Venez vous joindre à nous et ainsi contribuer à l’organisation d’activités ainsi qu’à l’offre de services et de soutien à la communauté de la trisomie 21 dans la grande région d’Ottawa et de Gatineau.
Pour siéger au c.a., vous devez être disponible pour participer aux assemblées mensuelles du conseil. il faut également être prêt à aider, à organiser et participer aux activités de l’Association.

Pour optimiser nos services et nous assurer que tous et toutes en bénéficient, nous croyons qu’une gestion saine et progressiste de l’Association doit s’accompagner d’un apport constant de nouvelles idées et de nouveaux points de vue.
